Project Advisory Council (PAC)
The Project Advisory Council (PAC) provides guidance, oversight, and feedback to support the Career Horizons Project (CHP) in achieving its mission of improving employment outcomes for Mississippians with disabilities. The PAC is committed to fostering transparency, accountability, and continuous quality improvement by ensuring that project activities remain responsive to participant needs, partner input, and best practices. The key goals of the PAC are as follows:
- Support Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) – Provide constructive feedback and recommendations to strengthen program services, operations, and participant outcomes.
- Enhance Collaboration – Strengthen partnerships between project staff, community organizations, healthcare providers, employers, and other stakeholders.
- Advance Participant Success – Ensure that services remain effective and participant-centered, ultimately supporting individuals in obtaining and maintaining competitive integrated employment.
Membership for CHP’s PAC will reflect a diverse range of stakeholders, including but not limited to: Individuals with disabilities (primarily those with Long COVID); vocational rehabilitation professionals; community rehabilitation providers; healthcare providers; employers and business leaders; disability advocacy groups; educational institutions; and family members or caregivers.
