Benjamin Little, CRC, is a doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision at Mississippi State University and serves as a Graduate Research Assistant with the Career Horizons Project. He holds a master’s degree in Counselor Education with an emphasis in Rehabilitation Counseling and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. His professional experience includes vocational rehabilitation, substance use disorder services, program development, workforce development, and supporting individuals as they navigate barriers to employment, recovery, and community reintegration.

Benjamin’s professional and research interests include disability and employment, chronic illness, substance use and recovery, incarceration and reentry, and the interpersonal and environmental factors that influence successful community participation. Through his work with the Career Horizons Project, he is particularly interested in understanding barriers experienced by individuals with disabilities, including those living in rural and underserved communities, and identifying practical strategies that promote competitive integrated employment, self-sufficiency, and meaningful participation in the workforce.
