Long COVID and Employment: Moving from Biopsychosocial-Ecological Theory to Real-World Practice

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
Explain how the Career Horizons Project (CHP) intervention model was developed using the Biopsychosocial- Ecological framework to address employment challenges associated with Long COVID.
Describe the core components of the project’s model, including family engagement and trimodal service delivery (in-person, virtual, hybrid) designed to support flexible return-to-work and job maintenance.
Illustrate the model in action using real-world case studies to demonstrate successful return-to-work and employer negotiation strategies.
